Job Description: Retirement Solutions Representative (RSR) is responsible for assisting our workplace customers with planning, guidance and investment needs while educating them on options within their retirement plans and Fidelity's service. Using a consultative approach, you will explore each customer's retirement situation to evaluate, qualify and discuss the appropriate distribution and solution offerings. In this role, you will manage asset retention during the education process and ensure participants are properly invested which is critical to customer success. As a Retirement Solutions Representative (RSR), you will have the opportunity to develop high-quality leads, the liaison to other business partners. You will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) at closing business and setting customers up with the tools and knowledge that will allow them to be successful investors with Fidelity and ultimately position Fidelity as a customer's primary provider of lifetime financial solutions. Primary Responsibilities * Identify and assess the distribution, product and service needs of 401K and tax exempt customers * Educate and assist customers on investments, risk tolerance, trading and guidance recommendations while using established tools, guidelines and procedures * Facilitate balanced discussion regarding distribution options and completion of prescribed onboarding process * Engage in insightful conversations with clients to establish relationships and uncover opportunities for additional account types, account features and asset consolidation * Provide Investment Guidance by using tools to match needs with suitable solutions such as products, research, and/or services * Generate leads for High Net Worth (HNW) business partners, Portfolio Advisory Services (PAS), Annuities and Active Trader opportunities through consultative sales techniques. * Effectively manage time by balancing all components of the sales process: initial and follow-up outbound calls, lead tracking processes to ensure quality and consistency Qualifications: Education and Experience * College degree preferred * Series 7 and 63 required, Series 66 must be obtained within 90 days * Sales or equivalent customer experience required Skills and Knowledge * Comprehensive understanding of the current market and the economy & industry trends * Superior knowledge of Fidelity's competitors, products and services * Excellent interpersonal, communication and consultative sales skills * Strong time management, problem resolution and organizational skills * Ability to contribute in a team-oriented environment and adjust to change, while multi-tasking in a dynamic financial service center.
